Don’t think the feds will go for it because of low density on the route. Hate to say it but the starter line downtown might be best and not coming north of the river might be work out better, but even then we have low density. The feds want new transit to pay for its self not with property or sales taxes. Looks like a dead end. With little population downtown I don’t see how it will work. More money will be pulled from the gas tax and not used for the roads to keep transit alive, which means that 99% of the people who use roads will have even less money to repair the roads.
