MAX adds extra rush-hour trip to Waldo

In response to increased ridership — KCATA is on track to top 16 million this year — an extra rush-hour trip to Waldo is being added to the MAX route. The MAX is often standing room only on southbound evening trips due to the alternating Plaza Only and Plaza/Waldo setup (in off-peak hours, all buses continue to Waldo).

I’d love to see them add this route as one of the early extensions to the light rail line…if nothing else, easier access to the Waldo bars and restaurants for me would be great….

Yes I agree it should go to 87th St. It might even go into the 21 century and install Wi-Fi as well. Brent you need to stay out of the bars.

Why can’t we save a billion dollars and expand BRT/MAX, which could make KC truly a car-free city, instead of only 14 miles where 1/3 of it goes through the ghetto?
