KC Light Rail

For those who live in Kansas City proper and subscribe to Time Warner Cable, you can catch repeat broadcasts of the Mayor's May 30 regional light rail meeting at noon daily through Tuesday (we captured it on the DVR last night around 9 p.m.). The meeting is also available to view on demand. Thanks to the City Communications Office for a quick response!

Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser will appear on KCUR's Up To Date this morning at 11 a.m. to discuss his regional transit plan and as well as some non-topics that just won't go away (Parks Board… meh). Those not in KC can listen in live over their interwebs.

Now that the neighborhood workshops are complete, the ATA is taking the light rail proposal to the city-at-large for viewing. Two sessions will be held in the politically expedient Northland and southeast parts of KCMO:
